Classteacher Learning Systems collaborates with IISC, Bangalore

Classteacher Learning Systems has collaborated with IISC, Bangalore for addressing various challenges faced by educators.

The three-day brainstorming conclave for principals, teachers, school administrators and policy makers was hosted by EduExcellence in association with the faculty support from IIT Delhi. The theme based conclave and the workshop sessions were organized to explore the various challenges educators face today and bring forth the industry best practices and ideas from across the world.

The 2011 conclave witnessed submissions of 450 research papers including 90 international papers and received participation from over 1100 representatives from over 700 schools in India. Revered industry associations including CII, UNICEF, MHRD, Delhi Government, NCERT, CBSE and IITs also participated in the event.

Rohit Pande, CEO, Classteacher Learning Systems said, “Digital learning has witnessed tremendous growth in India over the last two years and we see a huge growth in the near future in assessments and web based learning space. It is an ideal platform that makes learning an enjoyable, enriching and interactive experience, while simultaneously promoting critical thinking. Audio visual animation and interactive technology based systems of imparting education not only helps students grasp and retain better but also makes learning an exciting experience as compared to traditional linear text-based teaching and learning methodologies”.

Eminent stakeholders from education industry from all over the world including India, USA, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Macedonia, Nigeria, Middle East participated in the conclave. Jenny Mosley, Leading Education Consultant, Professor Harish Chaudhary, Founder of Eduexcellence, Dr Shantha Sinha, Chairperson of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Father George A Hess, Educationist, Dr Soumyajit Ghosal, Acting Dean, R&D Campus, NID, Bangalore, Mr Syed Sultan Ahmed, Advisor to Karnataka Knowledge Commission were also present among others. Classteacher’s curriculum integrates interactive white boards, multimedia devices, tablets, scientific probes and assessment devices etc. to create a truly immersive learning experience advocating and supporting collaborative learning and facilitating learning outcomes like critical thinking, creativity, global awareness, initiative and self-direction.
