Datamatics Global Services and Blue Star win CSI 2011 Award for Excellence in IT

Datamatics and Blue Star Limited, were awarded with the ‘CSI 2011 Award for Excellence in IT’ during 46 th Annual National Convention of Computer Society of India 2011. The Company was adjudged ‘1st Runner up’ in Product/Manufacturing sector for Channel Partner Bill Processing System designed and developed as per requirements given by Blue Star Limited.

Channel Partner Bill Processing System is designed and developed for processing channel partner invoices as per company commercial guidelines and approvals. The bill process involves receipt of hard copy bills from different channel partners from different locations, after which they are scanned, indexed and validated as per stated parameters. The process facilitates centralized invoice/bill processing at Central Back Office (CBO). Being an online system, Blue Star’s commercial executives at diverse locations can access and manage efficient bill processing. The process, post implementation led to higher efficiency, reduced turn-around-time (TAT), less dependency on manual intervention, and decrease in head count. Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman & CEO, Datamatics Global Services, said “The project was challenging not only for the sheer scale of integration it offered, but also the level of customization it demanded.”

KP Sukumar, VP, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Service Division, Blue Star Limited said, “At Blue Star, we focus on delivering a world-class customer experience by offering superior service standards and meeting challenging timelines.
