TaskTrek launched by Loginworks

Loginworks Softwares, a software development company, has launched TaskTrek—a communication and document management service. This technology targets SMBs for organizing all work-related communication and information in one place.

Dheeraj Juneja, Founder & CEO, Loginworks Softwares, said, “TaskTrek is a simple, reliable solution to common problems faced by any manager namely wasting energy and time on searching for information, handling miscommunication, attrition or system breakdowns. TaskTrek is designed to help people related to a particular work activity collaborate, communicate and share information in an organized fashion.”

Commonly, e-mail is used to communicate information in any office set up. Also, messengers, intranet systems and SMS are some other channels. With ever increasing channels of communication, information gets scattered, lost at times and then, you end up spending a lot of time organizing files or data rather than being productive.

TaskTrek ensures that, once work is delegated by the manager, the team follows it in a consistent fashion and there is accountability and clarity in work and no lapse in communication.

TaskTrek is claimed to addresses the core issue of communication and information management. The company offers it both in a hosted model, where Loginworks hosts the server and takes care of all data and as a product, where the complete system is installed on to an intranet.

TaskTrek is targeted towards people who do not need all the features of SharePoint (like CRM, Business Intelligence, social computing etc.) yet need to manage all communication and information exchanges within an office in a natural manner and bring all stakeholders on to a common platform. It is aimed primarily at SMEs who do not want to invest in IT infrastructure (or can do so with a minimal investment).

The service model subscription plan for TaskTrek is (10 to 100 users) available at an introductory price of Rs. 1,000 per month. It is also available through the product model for fixed cost plus annual maintenance charges.
