May be it’s time to put a tab on your credit card swipes, apply brakes on your monthly dining budget or to avoid the late penalties you’ve been paying with your taxes. The bottom-line is to have a clue on every buck you spend or you earn; every transaction that you can recall or the ones that just goes off your mind.

Intuit has released Intuit Money Manager to help Indian consumers keep a tab on their spending.

The Web-based personal financial tool is believed to help users plan, track and grow their money at ease. The product helps consumers manage all personal financial information in a single window; it consolidates personal finances from multiple bank accounts and investments, tracks and categorizes expenses, prepares and calculates taxes and provides clear insight into the health of customers’ personal finances.

Intuit Money Manager has been tightly integrated with Moneycontrol.com and comes with a free 90-day trial period. This tool is targeted towards urban population of India and it can be purchased at an annual subscription of Rs 365.

Talking about the new product, Intuit India Managing Director, Emerging Markets– Global Business Division, Umang Bedi said, “Intuit Money Manager has been made in India, for India and enable our customers to save money and achieve their financial goals. The solution has been developed based on information gleaned from numerous studies on the financial lifestyles of Indians. Some of their key pain-points were logging into multiple websites to track their finances and monitoring their expenses, goals, and savings. This is our first offering for India and through this we’re aiming to change the way personal finance is managed in India.”

“Intuit Money Manager assists salaried individuals who want to know how and where they spend their money. It acts like a trusted assistant, saving them time and money while helping them better personal finance decisions,” said Intuit India Marketing Head, Global business Division, Vittal Anandkumar.

It has integrated the tool up with 26 financial institutions and banks.

On security, Bedi emphasized on complete security against phishing and cyber crimes that have been hovering over online financial transactions.
