BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR: On the professional front,
the biggest achievement has been the implementation of SAP suit at HCC and making
it a part of HCC's work-culture. This was the first comprehensive implementation
of SAP in the construction industry in India.
ONE THING YOU WANT TO CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF: I would
like to be more casual in life. I tend to take everything very seriously and
that in some ways adds to the stress. I would like to make a change wherein
I will take my life a bit easy.
ONE THING YOU WOULD NEVER WANT TO CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF:
Value System. The value system carefully inculcated in the childhood, developed
subsequently and nurtured continuously has been a "winning tool" for
me. I would never like to change that.
BEST ADVICE EVER RECEIVED AND FROM WHOM: The HOD of
Mahindra Tractors where I underwent my in-plant-training during the final year
of Engineering. He advised me to get into IT instead of looking to make a career
in Production Engineering which was my engineering subject.
IF NOT A CIO YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN: Either a farmer
or a professor.
