Titan industries relies on ESET for its IT security

ESS Software Distribution Consulting (P) Limited, ESET’s Exclusive Distributor in India, has announced that Titan Industries Limited, the world’s fifth largest and India’s leading manufacturer of watches, is using total security solution ESET Smart Security for the protection of their network against evolving IT threats.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Titan Industries is the most admired brand of India. The company has manufactured more than a 100 million watches till date; and has a customer base of over 80 million. Titan Industries actively uses the Internet which is the main source of viruses and malwares. Hence Titan Industries required an antivirus solution which would offer reliable protection for the computer systems. Also, it required an antivirus solution which would provide comprehensive protection to their servers and workstations, was light weight, fast, easy to operate and having a centralized management tool. To select the right antivirus solution, Titan evaluated almost all the popular antivirus solutions available in the market. Consequently, they purchased 750 licenses of ESET Smart Security Business Edition.

The ESET Smart Security pre-sales product demonstration, evaluation, technical assistance, deployment and installation process on the network of Titan Industries were handled by Tushar Majumdar, BDM, Prudente Solutions, Bangalore Premium Business Partner of ESS Software Distribution and Consulting (P) Limited. The entire process was managed with the support of Riyaz Sayyed, General Manager, and Pratyush Mohanan, Technical Support Manager, ESS Software Distribution and Consulting (P) Limited.

From a central management console, an administrator can quickly respond to threats, update signature databases, run reports, and install and manage ESET solutions.
