Sony's VRD-MC1 recorder

Features: Sony’s VRD-MC1 recorder has a two-inch colour LCD screen for previewing videos and images. It can burn up to 12 hours of hardware encoded MPEG-2 video on DVD+R DL double layer discs, or up to six hours of video or up to 2,000 photos onto supported standard single layer discs. It can also record digital still images directly from a memory stick, memory stick duo storage media, compact flash, secure digital, and xD cards to a DVD, creating a slideshow that can be played back on a DVD player, or simply used as a back-up DVD of the images for storage or printing. When recording digital images, the DV direct recorder keeps the JPEG files in their original high resolution format, and is capable of printing them directly from a photo DVD to a PictBridge-enabled printer.

Seagate’s Barracuda ES

Features: Seagate’s Barracuda ES has SATA capacity up to 750 GB. With 7200 RPM, it has features such as Rotational Vibration Feed Forward technology to sustain performance when placed in closely packed multi-drive system environments. It is offered in a SATA 3Gb/s version that includes Native Command Queuing and 8/16 MB cache, and is available in capacities of 250, 400, 500 and 750 GB, and 2 Gb/s Fibre Channel version in capacities of 400 and 500 GB.

Features: This product supports 25 simultaneous inbound/outbound calls, and multiple users across multiple sites. Netgear’s Skype Wi-Fi Phone

Features: Netgear’s Skype Wi-Fi Phone works wherever there is wireless Internet access through 802.11g (802.11b backwards compatible). Calls can be made to any phone worldwide without any monthly fees. It manages the contact list, and its on-screen menu allows you to see who is online and available to talk. Dell’s Precision 690 workstation

Epson’s EMP-S4 multimedia projector

Features: This portable projector is targeted at small business users. It uses 3LCD technology for clear and vivid visual reproductions. EMP-S4 also features E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimise Reflection Lamp) technology for reducing light leakage and diffraction. The product has a four-second start-up time and instant-off functions. It has an A/V mute slide, which cuts out all lights and reduces fan noise when projector operations need to be suspended momentarily by the user. To activate this feature, users need to slide the shutter to cover the projector’s lens.

Atens’ KM0832 8-Console 32-Port Matrix KVM Switch

Features: This product, which is part of the Altusen line of enterprise KVM solutions from Aten, is an 8-Console, 32-Port KVM switch that allows eight users to directly manage up to 32 servers. The KM0832 features multi-platform support for servers and consoles. It allows a range of consoles to independently and simultaneously access and control servers with different platforms or operating systems. The KM0832 comes in a 1U rack mount form-factor, and features a detachable front panel which allows users to mount the body of the KVM near the rear of the rack for the ease of cable management.
