Features: Seagate’s Cheetah 15K.5 hard disc drive is based on perpendicular recording technology. It is available in capacities of 73 GB, 146 GB and 300 GB. The 15K.5 is available in a choice of 3 Gbps Serial Attached SCSI, Ultra320 SCSI, and 4 Gbps Fibre Channel interfaces. The 3.5 inch drive spins at 15K RPM with a sustained data transfer rate in the 73-125 Mbps range.

Plus-India’s Electronic Copyboard BF-041

Features: The BF-041 is a standard copyboard that eliminates the need for taking down hand-written notes. It helps to scribble and save notes simultaneously in a digital format on a laptop via a USB interface. The saved notes can be retrieved in print through the in-built thermal printer. The saved notes can even be e-mailed to various destinations. A condensed print out of the matter written on both the boards is also possible. It has two panels for writing, and a stand.

Epson’s Perfection V10 Scanner

Features: Epson Perfection V10 Scanner is a matrix CCD scanner that’s 2.2 kgs in weight and 41 mm in height. It has a silver casing, optical resolution of 3200 dpi, and 48-bit colour depth. Functional buttons on the front panel allow instant access to start, copy, scan to PDF and scan to e-mail functions. Its energy-saving mode is self-activated after 15 minutes of inactivity. The scanner can be reactivated by tapping on any one of the four direct access buttons or by launching the Epson Scan software. The scanner has a hinge design, which allows its lid to be opened up to 180 degrees.
