Seagate’s SV35 hard drive

Features: Seagate’s SV35 Series hard drive offers 160 GB, 250 GB or 500 GB of storage. It implements a combination of features to improve performance, power management and reliability for surveillance digital video recorders (SDVRs). The drive can provide up to 100 days of stored video at 24x7 operation (JPEG compressed 640x480, 1 fps). Some of the other features include 7200 rpm, start-up power 12V and ATA/100, SATA interface. The SV35 Series is compatible with UDMA-2, -3 and -4 chipsets while also offering SATA options for performance data transfers.

Netgear’s RangeMax 240 Wireless Router

Features: This router (model no. WPNT834) delivers wireless speeds up to 240 Mbps. It enables simultaneous HD video streaming, multi-player gaming, and file sharing. The company says that the product has the capability to increases the performance of existing 802.11b/g devices by up to 50 percent. Other features include double firewall, WEP encryption and WPA2 security.

SonicWall’s CSM 3200

Features: The managed device assists IT administrators in streamlining network security management by combining Internet control and monitoring with gateway and desktop protection. It delivers control over Internet usage in conjunction with real-time gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware and intrusion prevention plus enforced desktop/client anti-virus and anti-spyware capabilities. JBL On Time speaker dock and clock

Features: JBL On Time is a speaker dock and clock that combines a radio, clock and dual alarm. Its upward-firing tweeter and horizontal low and mid-range transducers provide a 360-degree sound field. An iPod, MP3 player or other music source can be connected to the dock.

JBL On Time incorporates the Apple iPod universal dock adapter, and is compatible with most docking versions of the iPod, including the Nano and 5G versions. A stereo mini jack connection allows audio from a variety of other devices, including the iPod Shuffle, MP3 and CD players, desktop and laptop computers (all platforms), and satellite radio. Other features include a large backlit display, back-up battery, JBL Phoenix and JBL Ridge transducers.

Zenith’s 17” TFT monitor

Features: Zenith’s 17” TFT monitor (model Z17) features 0.264 mm pixel pitch, 1280x1024 SXGA resolution, 16.7 million display colour, 270 cd/m2 brightness, 400:1 contrast ratio, and 12 ms response time. Eurotech’s 4 Port KVM switches

Features: Eurotech Technologies has announced the launch of the 4 port OSD (on screen display) BestNet KVM switches in India. The OSD facility is currently available in 8 ports and above. Eurotech has also announced the availability of 8-port and 16-port BestNet KVM switches that feature a 19” rack-mountable design and 1 U’ Size. This range of BestNet KVM switches connect 4-16 computers and supports Win95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP, Netware, OS/2, Mac, Sun Linux and Unix. The BestNet KVM switch enables plug-and-play installation.

Eurotech’s 4 Port KVM switches provide access to four computers from one keyboard, video, mouse and speaker. The video quality is up to 1920x1440, with bandwidth of 250 MHz. They do not require software as PC selection is done via push-buttons and keys. They have auto scan mode, LED display for status monitoring, and beep sound for switching port confirmation.
