announces national rollout of NAC
Nasscom has announced the completion of the pilot phase of
Nasscom Assessment of Competence (NAC). The national rollout
of the programme will begin from November 2006. This was announced
on the sidelines of the ongoing Nasscom India ITeS-BPO Strategy
Summit 2006 in Bangalore.

Tata Consultancy Services has announced that it has signed
a Memorandum of Understan-ding (MoU) with the Maharashtra
government to acquire 50 acres of land for locating a state-of-the-art
development facility in Hinjewadi Phase III, which is part
of an MIDC-promoted Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
