Xerox’s Work Centre PE 220

Feature: This multi-functional device can print, copy, scan and fax. It offers a print and scan resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, 16 MB memory, printing speed of 20 ppm and a duty cycle up to 5,000 pages per month. A copy of the first page is out in 11 seconds. The main tray can handle 150 sheets. It also allows colour scanning through USB to the desktop. The scan resolution is 4,800 x 4,800 dpi.

Aci’s Ethos E laptop

Features: Aci’s sub-Rs 20,000 laptop comes with a 14.1 TFT LCD screen and weighs 2.4 kg. It has a 1.2 GHz VIA C3 Nehemiah CPU and 256 MB DDR RAM that can be upgraded to 512 MB. Its additional features include CLE 266 with Castle Rock GFX, 64 MB SMA (Sharing Memory Architecture) and a 40 GB HDD that can be upgraded to 80 GB.

Sony’s DRU-820A DVD Burner

Features: The DRU-820A is Sony’s first DVD multi-drive which supports DVD+R double/dual layer recording, standard DVD+R/+RW and DVD-RAM.

The new series of multi-format DVD writers support seven DVD burning formats—8x DVD+R DL, 6x DVD-R DL, 16x DVD+R, 16x DVD-R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 5x DVD-RAM. It can also perform CD burning functions at CD-R 48x and CD-RW 24x. The DRU-820A comes with Nero software suite.

Acer’s 19-inch wide TFT

Features: Acer’s 19-inch wide screen TFT monitor AL1916W weighs 4 kg and has a 500:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, a resolution of 1,440 x 900 and a response time of 8 milliseconds for gaming.

The monitor also comes with an in-built power adapter. The monitors are TCO 99 certified and have a three-year warranty. It can be used as a TV or a computer monitor.
