Adobe Creative Suite Version 2

Features: Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium Software is a unified design environment that combines new versions of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat 7.0 with new Version Cue CS2, Adobe Bridge, and Adobe Stock Photos. Adobe Bridge is a new highlight of the Creative Suite that provides multi-view browsing and cross-product integration across Adobe Creative Suite 2 software. The version also provides access to Adobe stock photos, a new stock photography service that provides a one-stop solution to royalty-free images. NextGen Automation Gateman

Features:  Gateman is an integrated gateway device that incorporates surveillance, security, e-mail, automation, firewall and proxy facilities in a single device with a built-in UPS. It allows the user to access the information directly using a Java-enabled GPRS or CDMA mobile phone apart from the Internet. Gateman offerings include a firewall to prevent hackers breaking into office systems, and a proxy server that allows authorised persons from the company to access the Web. Further, it contains a security module with the ability to send an SMS in the eventuality of a break-in. Other features include automated backup and disaster recovery systems for e-mail, surveillance data, and all configuration information.

Latitude X1

Features: Dell has introduced its notebook for travelling professionals, the Latitude X1. Starting at 1.14 kg, the Latitude X1’s 12.1-inch wide-aspect display is shorter in height than traditional screens and fits in tight spaces, including tray tables. Latitude X1 includes Intel’s Centrino technology and the Pentium M Ultra-Low Voltage processor 733 (1.1GHz). It has integrated Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth R 2.0 offering enhanced data rate wireless capability and supports 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet standards. It also has 30 GB and 60 GB hard drives, 8X DVD-ROM / 24X CD-RW/DVD. The ports include two USB 2.0, VGA, headphone and microphone slots, SD/IO and CompactFlash.

Netgear

Features: The 54 Mbps Wireless Travel Router (WGR101) is 802.11b/g and 802.11b compliant. Measuring 0.7x2.3x3.4 inches, the pocket-sized WGR101 incorporates an internal antenna to eliminate concerns of breakage during packing and travel. Security features include both NAT routing and Stateful Packet Inspection, VPN (IP-Sec and PPTP) pass-through, 64 or 128-bit WEP encryption, and wireless SSID suppression. It is also Wi-Fi Protected Access upgradeable. WGR101 comes with an external switch which lets the user select between single user, multiple user and configuration modes.

Cisco 1800 series

Features: Cisco 1801, 1803, 1811 and 1812 integrated services routers are fixed configuration. In this series, the 1841 is modular in nature. The routers are designed for broadband, metro Ethernet and wireless connectivity. The 1800 series provide for ISDN basic rate interface, analog modem or Ethernet backup port for redundant WAN links, and load balancing. They also come with wireless LAN for simultaneous 802.11a and 802.11b/g, a security set-up including firewall, IPSec, VPNs or AES, IPS with eight port 10/100 managed switch with VLAN support, and optical power over Ethernet. LCD 4610

Features: NEC recently announced the launch of its range of MultiSync large-screen LCD monitors. The 46-inch MultiSync LCD4610 consists of a large-screen LCD that features the Digital Signage Technology Suite. It has a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels with Xtraview wide-angle viewing. Further, it has 257 RGB levels that allow more than 16 million colours. Additional components in the suite include the patented Tile Matrix feature that creates a near-seamless display for multi-unit applications. The new displays offers gray-to-gray overdrive, which allows for smoother and more uniform video image viewing.
