HCL Peripherals ready to enter high-end enterprise networking space

HCL Peripherals, a unit of HCL Infosystems, is planning a venture tie-up with an international company for entering the field of enterprise networking solutions in a major way.

HCL Peripherals ranks among the top five network solution companies. It made its entry into networking solutions for the SMB segment five years ago with its NetMax brand. The company has increasingly gained a strong hold in the SMB segment which constitutes 65 percent of the entire network market. It has garnered 5 percent marketshare, and is now preparing itself to carve a success story for itself in the top-end enterprise networking solutions space.

According to R Srinivasan, GM, Sales & Support, HCL Peripherals, “After our success in the SMB segment, HCL-P will now broaden the benefits in terms of TCO and better RoI to the end-customer and transnational companies, and will compete with global leaders.”

The top management is now charting a new business model for its next phase by extending its comprehensive solutions to the hi-end enterprise segment. These include routing network solutions, wireless solutions /WAN solutions and enterprise-network security solutions.

“We are gearing up for a big bang in offering cost effective, customised solutions with advanced manageability and reliability for the hi-end enterprise networking community,” says V Venkatesan, the company’s National Manager for Networking Products.
