Canon India to focus on digital cameras in 2005
Canon India has outlined its roadmap for the coming fiscal and has identified the digital camera business as its biggest growth engine. According to Alok Bharadwaj, vice president, Volume Group, Canon India, “Our digital camera business has grown by more than 400 percent year-on-year in 2004.

LG arm sets-up development centre in Bangalore
LG CNS Global Pvt Ltd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the South Korean IT services firm LG CNS Global, has set-up its software development centre in Bangalore to provide specialised services for enterprises outside the LG group.

Dax takes the alliance route
A lack of competing products has dented the ability of many players in the Indian router market to take on market leader Cisco. One such player, Chennai-based Dax Networks is sewing up a string of alliances to fill the gaps in its product portfolio.
