Anybody whos ever struggled
to send a file to a specific location, be it a network share or a folder
on the local hard drive, knows how painful the process can be. There is
an easier way though. Click on Start->Run and type SendTo
without the quotes and hit Enter. This will open the SendTo folder. Now
run Windows Explorer and find the drive or directory where you want to send
files. Right click on the drive or directory and choose Create Shortcut.
Drag the newly minted shortcut to the SendTo folder. The next time you want
to send a file to that folder or drive, just right click on it, choose Send
To and the location will be there.
