Snom India plans assistance
centre
Three months into the launch of its Indian operations, Berlin-based
VoIP phone manufacturer Snom AG is planning to outsource its entire
global support function to its Indian subsidiary, Snom Technology
India.
StratCom explores tie-ups
for airships
Stratospheric airships from US-based StratCom International will
be ready to offer communication links soon. The first prototype
is expected to hit the air by 2005-2006.
Perot Systems to acquire
Vision
Vision Healthsource India, a Chennai-based IT-enabled services company
focusing solely on the lucrative US healthcare industry has announced
that it will be acquired by the US-based Perot Systems
Yahoo! to set up R&D
centre in India
Yahoo! has set up an R&D centre in India. It will hire 150 employees
by end-2004 for its centre at Bangalore that will be the first such
centre outside of the US.
AOL to expand Indian
services
America Online Member Services India, a subsidiary of AOL, plans
to ramp up its headcount from 1,500 to 1,900 people by end-2003.
