Snom India plans assistance centre
Three months into the launch of its Indian operations, Berlin-based VoIP phone manufacturer Snom AG is planning to outsource its entire global support function to its Indian subsidiary, Snom Technology India.

Yahoo! has set up an R&D centre in India. It will hire 150 employees by end-2004 for its centre at Bangalore that will be the first such centre outside of the US.

AOL to expand Indian services
America Online Member Services India, a subsidiary of AOL, plans to ramp up its headcount from 1,500 to 1,900 people by end-2003.
