TCS crosses $1 billion mark in turnover
It is a landmark achievement for India’s IT industry. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced revenues of Rs 5,012 crore ($1.04 billion), becoming the first Indian IT organisation to cross the billion-dollar mark.

Nasscom has recommended a four-pronged strategy for the Indian animation industry to more than double its size in the next three years. The association gave its recommendations on the sidelines of the Animation India 2003 summit.
