D-Link has added a new model to its existing motherboard product portfolio marketed under the brand name DigiLink-Gigabyte. The new model DGA_8LS533-C is the first model to be build from IntelR 845GL chipset, coupled with Intel’s advanced ICH4 technology. DGA_8LS533-C has been specially designed to meet all the requirements of home entertainment and office applications and is said to be an ideal choice for the performance/price driven user. This latest offering from D-Link also features a revolutionary graphics core—Intel Extreme Graphics engine-that delivers realistic 3D graphics with sharp images to provide a rich visual experience for digital photos, videos and games. High-speed USB 2.0 provided by ICH4 enhances data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps, 40 times faster than USB 1.1. EMC has announced the launch of EMC Celerra NS600 network server, combining in one integrated package Celerra’s enterprise NAS features with the high availability and cost advantage of EMC Clariion storage system. The Celerra NS600 fills out EMC’S family of NAS solutions, headed at the high-end by the Celerra CNS. The EMC Celerra NS600 is a mid-sized NAS system that marries the functionality of EMC’s enterprise NAS operating system, DART (data access in real time), with the Clariion storage architecture. Optimised for superior performance, the Celerra NS600’s inherent high availability offers an alternative to the complex add-on clustering found in today’s mid-tier NAS solutions.
