has different strokes for different markets
Sun
has a dual strategy for servers. On one end it is taking on IBM
and HP in the high-end space with its Sun Fire servers. At the other
end of the scale it is beefing up its Linux line by launching a
general-purpose Linux box, a significant step forward from its earlier
Linux servers, which were appliances and not full-fledged servers.
Compulink
targets software companies with ProjectByNet
Pune-based
Compulink has launched a product for project automation called ProjectByNet,
and is aiming to generate 50 percent of its revenues from products
by 2003.
